We were advised to paint the raw wood that was replaced on the eaves due to rot when the roof was replaced seven years ago in 2014. We got to it in the last few days, finally in 2021. Sanding the wood, priming it, then painting it Miller Paint's 'Dove Grey'...36 boards total around the house (& a little extra). Hooray!
